Dear hockey friends,

HAHA will hold elections for new board members in March.  If you are
interested in volunteering, please submit your name and a brief
description of who you are and why you want to serve on the board by
January 24.  The term for a board member is two years.  Each year the
term of six board members expires.  The board meets the second Wednesday
of every month, 5:30pm at the Ice Complex.

HAHA is a nonprofit organization and we rely on our many volunteers to
direct the activities and leagues for our youth and adult participants. 
Serving as a board member is an important part of the planning,
organization, and oversight of the leagues each year.  If you have any
hockey experience, great ideas, management skills, desire to serve your
community or promote the sport in our area, and you are in good-standing
with HAHA, then you may be qualified to serve on the board.

Please consider how you might make a difference for our association and
the enjoyment of our sport.  Remember HAHA doesn't have any customers,
HAHA has members.  Volunteers are vital to controlling the costs of our
relatively expensive and unique sport.  We need each and every parent to
do their part to make our association run smoothly by volunteering for
something, including the board of directors.
